Kayaking at Bond Lake

Summer is coming to an end, so TJ and I decided to take advantage of the warm days that are left by going to Bond Park in Cary.

We chose to kayak, but you can also rent pedal boats, rowboats, canoes and sailboats. A two-person kayak is only $5 per hour, and most of the other rentals are similarly priced.

The lake was big enough so that we did not feel crowded, even though there was a good amount of people in the water. We also loved getting to see turtles and ducks swimming right alongside the boat.

The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was great, and as always, TJ got some amazing pictures.

This is my favorite:

We really look forward to going back to check out some of the other boating activities and the walking trails in the park before it gets too cold!
